Mark Kiteley is a Si2 Expert in Reverse Logistics and Asset Recovery.
Mark has over 30 years of experience in the service industry, in such disciplines as service design, strategy and execution, business development, supply chain analysis -both forward and reverse logistics- and asset recovery. A founder of one of the early 4th party service providers in the UK, Mark designed and implemented a number of innovative services for major IT and consumer electronics companies, both in the UK and across Europe.
Mark served on the International Board of AFSMI (Association of Field Service Managers International) –the pre-cursor to the Service Community– as the UK Director and started a number of special interest groups within that body covering Quality, Depot Repair, and Field Software. He also served on the Editorial Advisory Board of Service Management, a specialist trade and management journal. During the meteoric rise of IT services throughout the 1980’s and 90’s, Mark was a member of the committees which transformed industry standards BS5750 into ISO9000 and aligned its objectives with those of the service industry culminating in co-authoring the book “A Guide to Registration – ISO9001.”
Mark’s consulting work in the service sector has focused on helping clients, in particular service SME’s, design and implement strategies to provide sustainable growth in an ever more crowded market place. Mark also works closely with manufacturers and retailers on reverse logistics, post sales services and asset recovery in the ever growing returns market.
Mark holds a number of Non-Executive Directorships in companies in the UK and is a Chartered Director.
