John Pritchard is a Si2 Expert in the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Automation Technology, Strategy, B2B Go-To-Market and Business Development.

Formerly President of GE’s Automation business in Europe/MEA, John has extensive experience in managing large engineering, tech and service based operations. Skilled in business transformation, simplification and creating lean organizations, he led the company’s expansion and growth in the emerging markets of the Middle East, Africa, Russia/CIS and North & South East Europe. During his career he managed and led product development, product management, manufacturing, project management, sales and service teams, working in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Luxembourg and Switzerland.

Currently John is Managing Director at MAC Solutions (www.mac-solutions.co.uk), a UK-based developer of integrated technical solutions to enable industrial operators to connect and manage distributed assets through data and analytics. He is also Principal of Growth Stages, a consulting firm that helps manufacturing and technology businesses grow  through Service Thinking and Smarter-Connected Products.

John specializes in strategy, sales and business development and how services can make a significant contribution to revenue and profit growth. Within the field of the IIoT, he has a deep understanding of how suppliers can develop ecosystems of remote services around equipment and has worked closely with customers from the utilities, oil and gas and process industries.
