Jarmo Heinonen is a Si2 Expert and consultant focusing on services strategy, business development and operational excellence.
His particular interest is in helping manufacturing and engineering based companies develop strong service businesses, compete in the markets, bid and win major contracts and put in place robust and efficient operations and service delivery capabilities. During a career spanning over 30 years, Jarmo has amassed strong international expertise in after sales and life cycle services, outcome based contracting and outsourcing, industrial asset management, building service ecosystems and partnerships as well as service business models and service productization. He has worked in line, staff and executive leadership positions in many countries around the world.
Prior to becoming a consultant Jarmo led global Business Development for Quant Service, a major industrial maintenance and asset management services provider, while previously he held regional and global management positions at ABB, including as head of strategy for its >$1 bill. global maintenance outsourcing business (ABB Full Service). Jarmo has also been customer service and product manager at oil company Neste, including for market introduction of its branded oil products (first in Europe) and started his career as a sales manager with HPAC Contracting, a specialist Finnish engineering contractor.
